Founded in the summer of 2022 by Fort Worth native Trenace Dorsey-Hollins, Parent Shield Fort Worth was established to shift the balance of power in education to serve parents and children. Through effortless boots on the ground this team knocked on hundreds of doors throughout Fort Worth. They met parents at parks, community centers and events and truly wherever parents were. Dedicated to educating and uniting parents, Parent Shield Fort Worth’s movement began to grow. We’ve met with elected officials, school leaders and the media to let them know parents do care and we plan to be at the forefront of any decisions being made about our children’s education.
